There will be five panelists at the event on Zoom, which will be facilitated by Malawian media personality Diana Liabuba on July 1 from 14:00hrs.
“From outright acts of feminism to simply taking their well-deserved seat at the boardroom table, women have come a long way when it comes to financial independence, economic positioning and the building of wealth,” says Bwanji Digital Creative Agency in a statement.
“According to a report written by Yellowood, a global marketing and brand consultancy in August 2018, the spending power of women has increased dramatically. The female economy is now worth approximately US$28 trillion.
“While the world has been upholding structures seemingly favorable for men for centuries, women have been digging a tunnel into the financial space to the extent that the female gender is expected to end up controlling up to 75% of global discretionary spend by 2028.”

This is what will be tackled during the webinar to answer the questions how has this happened and how can more women in Africa and around the world make it happen for themselves.
It will talk more about this growing economy as well as sound financial advice that is going on between the genders in the financial space.
The five panelists — Natsai Mawoni, Theana Msoloma, Refilwe Maluleke, Thokozani Unyolo and Stailess Kaitane — are reputable women with experience in business, finance, and global economics as they share their experience and thoughts on this timely conversation.
