In a statement, GOtv highlights that “there are moments on TV that shift the mood instantly – the kind where the group chat wakes up, everyone starts typing, and you feel like you need to tune in right now”.
“That’s the energy Big Brother Mzansi is walking in with. GOtv already has homes buzzing with the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON) Morocco 2025, and now it’s adding another heavyweight to keep the excitement flowing without slowing down.”
GOtv adds that Season 6 is designed to stretch personalities, trigger alliances, spark clashes, and reward the housemates who know how to play the long game and to match the scale of the season, GOtv is running a full 24/7 Big Brother Mzansi pop-up channel on Channel 29.

“That means every look, every whisper, every ‘did they really just say that?’ moment is right there for you – live, unfiltered, and happening around the clock.
“The new cast arrives with big confidence and even bigger energy. Early reactions already have people picking favourites, debating strategies, and trying to predict which housemate will trend first.
“With AfCON bringing football action to Channel 59 and Big Brother Mzansi bringing social fireworks, GOtv viewers are getting a strong mix of must-watch content across the board.”
The Big Brother Mzansi pop-up channel will be available from GOtv Supa and up to run from January 11-22 March 2025.
