A goal each from Wisdom Mpinganjira (9′); Gaddi Chirwa (29′); Isaac Kaliati (66); Misheck Botomani  (84′) and Francisco Madinga (90′) saw 2nd-placed Mighty Wanderers whip Mighty Tigers 5-0 yesterday in the TNM Super League 2024.

The win cuts Silver Strikers’ lead to 4 points but the Bankers have game in hand and from their remaining six games of the season, they will amass 72 points if they win all.

Thus the Nomads will be hoping Silver drop points as the maximum points they would get are 65, seven away for Silver if they would achieve the feat.

Meanwhile, having drawn 0-0 with Civil Service United yesterday, Kamuzu Barracks have climbed from 8th position to 7th while Creck Sporting Club pushed up one place through goal difference after drawing with 4th-placed Mzuzu City Hammers.
