Nyasa Big Bullets back at the top of FDH Bank Premiership after beating Blue Eagles 2-0

Nyasa Big Bullets have displaced Mighty Wanderers at top of the FDH Bank Premiership after beating Blue Eagles 2-0 this afternoon at Mpira Stadium.

They have accumulated 33 points, one ahead of Mighty Wanderers, who beat Silver Stadium 1-0 yesterday at Silver Stadium and took temporary lead of the log table.

The Bullets broke the deadlock in the 56th through Chawanangwa Gumbo to take the game at 1-0 for the half time break.

They won a penalty in the 63rd which was converted by Ephraim Kondowe to recapture the top spot, which Blue Eagles took at the close of the 1st round.

Meanwhile, Creck Sporting have won their 4th game of the season to accumulate 16 points but maintained their relegation zone’s 15th position.

They beat Moyale 2-1 at Civo Stadium through goals from Mussa Kitchen in the 44th and Harvey Nasiyaya in 85th while Moyale’s consolation was an equaliser in the 54th minute through Black Allison.

They share 13 points with MAFCO, who lost 0-2 to Chitipa United Mighty Wanderers, who lost 0-2 to Chitipa United yesterday.

Karonga United have accumulated 17 points but retained their 13th place after beating Civil Service United 1-0 at Karonga Stadium through Eric Mandanda’s 24th.

At Dedza Stadium, hosts Dedza Dynamos beat 6th-placed Masters FC 2-1 to accumulate 15 points but have maintained their 12th place.
