Flames coach Kalisto Pasuwa has added three new players to his 24-member squad that has flown out today for Angola for the Matchday 2 of the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON) qualifier against on Tuesday at Estádio 11 de Novembro.

FAM Media reports that Pasuwa has brought in Ekhaya FC goalkeeper Amos Sande, Silver Strikers midfielder Robert Saizi and Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder Chawanangwa Gumbo.
The trio was not part of the squad that defeated South Sudan 2-1 on Matchday 1 last week to and are second in Group B after Egypt and Angola drew 0-0 in first match and beating South Sudan 5-0 last Tuesday.
Mozambique-based striker Richard Mbulu has also made the trip and could be available for selection against Angola.

The squad, flew out through Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe on Sunday morning, has:
Goalkeepers: George Chikooka, William K. Thole, Amos Sande;
Defenders: McDonald Rameck, Gomezgani Chirwa, Emmanuel Nyirenda, Charles Petro, Dennis Chembezi, Blessings Mpokera;
Midfielders: Blessings Singini, Dominic Lloyd Njaliwa, Francisco Madinga, Peter Ng’ambi, Yankho Singo, Chawanangwa Gumbo.
Forwards: Patrick Mwaungulu, Babatunde Adepoju, Gaddie C. Chirwa, Adiel Kaduya, Mayele Malango, Festus Duwe, Ephraim Kondowe, Richard Mbulu, Robert Saizi.
After the Angola assignment, the Flames will then meet Egypt in back-to-back during the November 2026 international window — first travelling to Cairo for Matchday 3 before hosting the Pharaohs in Lilongwe for Matchday 4 within November 9-17.

Meanwhile, SuperSport announced last week that it will be beaming the AfCON Pamoja 2027 and the tournament finals itself in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
CANAL+ and MultiChoice Africa announced that they signed an agreement with Confédération of African Football (CAF) to bring the continent’s biggest sporting events to SuperSport audiences across Sub-Saharan Africa.
CANAL+ Africa Chief Executive, David Mignot is quoted in the statement saying the agreement represents an important moment for African football audiences.
“We are thrilled to give football fans across the continent the opportunity to follow their national teams from the opening stages of qualification through to the biggest moments of the finals,” Mignot was quoted as saying.
