The two first met on May 3 at the Aubrey Dimba Stadium in the first round of the FDH Bank Premiership 2026 in which the Lali Lubani Road club triumphed 2-1.
They then were drawn against each other in the Airtel Top 8 2026’s two-legged quarterfinals in which the Nomads won 3-1 on aggregate.
They first won 2-0 at Mpira Stadium before drawing 1-1 in the 2nd leg in Lilongwe to progress to the semifinals.
The two sides are now meeting on Saturday at Mpira Stadium for the FDH Bank Premiership’s second round with Wanderers placed 2nd on the log table with 32 points, while Creck are on the relegation zone’s 15th with 13 points.

Wanderers have lost twice so far in the league in which they won nine and drew five while Creck have lost nine, won three and drew four.
It is an uphill task for Creck to extricate themselves from the relegation zone as they share 13 points with 14th-placed MAFCO FC and four behind Karonga United on 13th and five away from 12th-placed Dedza Dynamos.
For Wanderers, the defending champions are one point behind leaders Nyasa Big Bullets, who date MAFCO on Sunday at Civo Stadium.
The Bullets are on high spirits having beaten Blue Eagles to displace them from the top which they occupied in their last game of the 1st round when they beat Wanderers 2-0.
With 31 points, they were pushed to 3rd place — two ahead of Silver Strikers, who are 4th with 29 points and are meeting Moyale away at Mzuzu Stadium on Sunday.

Chitipa United are on 5th with 24 points and travel to Lilongwe to meet Blue Eagles at Nankhaka while 5th-placed Masters FC with 22 points host Karonga United at Bingu National Stadium also on Sunday.
Also on Sunday, 9th-placed Red Lions are at home, Zomba Stadium, to host Ekhaya — whom they share 21 points with and placed on 7th.
The Matchweek 17 opens up on Friday at Civo Stadium where former league champions, Kamuzu Barracks (2016) date FDH Bank Premiership debutants LUANAR Mitundu, who are 8th with 21 points.
Kamuzu Barracks are threatened with relegation as they lie at the rock bottom of the table with 12 points, earned from 3 wins and 3 draws, having lost 10.
Another assignment on Saturday involves 11th-placed Civil Service United (20 points) who will host Dedza Dynamos at Civo Stadium.
