They share points with Chilobwe United and Namitete Zitha, who are yet to play their Matchweek 13 assignments this weekend.
However, they have temporarily displaced Namitete Zitha, who will face runners-up Extreme FC on Sunday at Owen Malijani Stadium in Mchinji.
Chilobwe United have maintained their 5th place ahead of their assignment on Sunday at Mpira Stadium against Mighty Tigers.
In the match at Mpira Stadium, it took up to the 79th minute to break the deadlock when FOMO FC won a penalty after a foul in the box which Sabastian Chinsomba converted.
Six minutes later, FOMO doubled the lead against run of play through Divason Daud assisted by Malizani Kalema.

FOMO went into the match full of momentum after a convincing 4-1 victory over Extreme FC at Mulanje Park last weekend while Ndirande Stars drew with Chilobwe United and are on 9th place with 15 points.
In another midweek game played on Wednesday at Mpira Stadium, Mzuzu City Hammers scored late to beat Bangwe All 1-0.
They amassed 24 points, one behind runners-up Extreme. It was a tight contest that took up to the 86th for the Mzuzu Hammers to break Bangwe All Stars through Maxwell Funsani, assisted by Alex Msiska.
Bangwe stay rooted on the relegation zone’s 11th place with 6 points earned from one win and three draws while Mzuzu Hammers have amassed 24 points.
On Saturday, log table leaders Songwe Border, who opened a 3-point lead after beating rock bottom of the table Changalume Barracks 2-1 last Saturday, will host Ntaja United Karonga Stadium.
Songwe, who have 28 points, will need to tread carefully against Ntaja, who managed to draw 0-0 with Mzuzu City Hammers to maintain their 7th place with 16 points.
