Headline fixtures for Matchweek 3 of the NBM Women’s Premiership Season 2 involves leaders Nyasa Big Bullets Women and runners-up Silver Strikers Ladies, to be played on tomorrow, September 3.

The two sides share 6 points each but separated by goal difference and both are away; with the Bullets Women at Nankhaka in Lilongwe to be hosted by debutants, FACT Ladies, who lie 7th on the log table with 3 points.
Reigning champions Silver Ladies will be at Civo Stadium to face MDF Lionesses, who have 4 points and are placed on 4th.
The Lionesses share 4 points with Ascent Soccer, who are 4th place and will be away at Mpira Stadium on Thursday to be hosted by Mighty Wanderers Queens, who are on 6th position with 3 points.
On the same Thursday, there will be an intriguing encounter between two sides who have lost both their opening matches — involving debutants Rumphi Sisters, who are hosting Kukoma Ntopwa Women at Rumphi Stadium.
Matchweek 6 concludes with a game between debutants Chitoliro Heroines and 5th-placed Civil Service Women at Mpira Stadium.
Chitoliro also lost both their two opening games and are on 9th place, while the Civil Women, who won their first match 5-1 over Mighty Wanderers Queens, have 3 points having lost 1-2 to Bullets Women in their second assignment.
So the race is on in this 10-team women’s top flight league, whose inaugural season had Silver Silvers losing just two matches and clinching the title with three games to spare.
Runners-up were Ascent Soccer; MDF Lionesses were on 3rd place, Bullets Women on 4th and Civil Women on 5th; Ntopwa Women on 6th and Wanderers Queens on 7th.
