The Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services (DSSMS) says the chilly Chiperoni weather which has been experienced in the past few days, is expected to weaken by Tuesday — starting in Southern and Central Regions.

The DCCMS says this is due to a shift from a cool, moist, and strong southeasterly air mass to a less moist easterly air mass.
And, meanwhile, Mwera winds which are blowing over Lake Malawi and other water bodies, are expected to start to weaken tomorrow.
However, the DCCMS advises lake users to remain alert and continue taking necessary precautions to protect life and property until conditions on the lake fully calm down.
In its weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow, the public should still expect the Chiperoni weather, which is associated with windy, cloudy and chilly conditions coupled with fog patches, drizzle and occasional rain tonight and in the morning.
