It will be held under theme; ‘Future-ready HR: Building Talent for Malawi’s Digital and Green Economy’ — which aligns with CDH Investment Bank as it places best human capital and technology at the core of its business growth.

Presenting the cheque in Blantyre, Chief Human Capital Development Officer, Chrispin Chikwama, said CDH Investment Bank found it prudent to support the IPMM conference “to contribute to the dialogue which will challenge the nation to invest in every organisations most valuable resource, people — and equipping them”.

“At CDH Investment Bank, we are passionate about human capital development,” he said. “Our philosophy is to deliver financial solutions to our clients by effectively utilizing the best human capital and technology.

“This year’s theme challenges us to invest in our most valuable resource, our people, by equipping them with the digital skills they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving business environment, while embedding green practices which safeguard our future.

“The message is clear, people, digital innovation, and green solutions are not separate goals but an integrated strategy for sustainable progress.

“By advancing digital capabilities, we empower individuals and teams to innovate, collaborate, and boost productivity.

“By embracing green approaches, we commit to a cleaner, more resilient economy that protects our resources for generations to come.”

Chikwama thus highlighted that CDH Investment Bank remains “dedicated to fostering a resilient and future-ready nation” and further believes that this year’s conference strongly aligns with that commitment.

“Our support will contribute to this vital dialogue and to the practical outcomes which will emerge from it and turn learning into tangible improvements across Malawi’s workplaces and communities.

“Thank you to IPMM for curating this essential platform, and to all participants for your ongoing commitment to investing in people, digital capability, and a sustainable, prosperous future.”

In his vote of thanks, IPMM Treasurer General, Orphan Mapopa Chirwa, applauded CDH Investment Bank’s commitment to investing in the engine of the country’s economic growth, human capital.

“We appreciate the Bank’s trust in supporting the Institute of People Management Malawi’s mission and in this conference, which serves as a catalyst for development.”

Mapopa Chirwa expressed IPMM’s appreciation for the support, which he said was a timely boost ahead of the annual conference and called for other organisations to support the cause.
