After 11 games each, the race for the FDH Bank Premiership 2026 title is still tight as three teams at the shop share on 22 points and separated by goal difference.
Reigning league champions, Mighty Wanderers occupy the pole position having amassed 21 goals against seven; Silver Strikers as runners-up with 19 goals against five; and 3rd-placed Blue Eagles with 18 goals against 12.
Nyasa Big Bullets trail on 4th position with 20 points, two behind the top three with Masters occupying 5th place with 17 points, Ekhaya on 6th with 16 points — sharing with 7th-placed Moyale and 8th-placed Chitipa United.
Thus puts the contest for the Airtel Top 8 2027 which is also very tight as behind them with just a one-point gap are LUANAR Mitundu on 9th and Red Lions on 10th — sharing 11 points apiece separated by goal difference.
These two, along with Baka City — who rebranded to Masters FC — joined the top flight from the 2nd-tier NBS Bank National Division League (NDL), and each have won four, drew three and lost four; with Mitundu scoring 10 and conceding 10 while Red Lions scored 10 and conceded 11.

At the bottom is an also a very close contest to escape from. Despite beating Nyasa Big Bullets, Dedza Dynamos are still in the relegation zone on 14th, Kamuzu Barracks 15th and Creck Sporting at rock bottom 16th.
MAFCO (11th), Karonga (12th) and Civil Service United (13th) are on thin line ahead of the relegation zone sides as MAFCO and Karonga share 12 points, just one away from Dedza Dynamos and two from Kamuzu Barracks while Civil Service United share 11 points.
