A statement issued this evening by BWB public relations office, alerts customers that “since the water supply system has been without water, the restoration of water supply will be gradual”.
“Some customers may start receiving water later tonight, while others may have to wait until sufficient water levels have been built up in the supply system.
“This process may take until tomorrow or, in some areas, the following day.
“The Board appreciates the patience and understanding of its valued customers,” says the statement adding that water bowsers will continue to be deployed to the affected areas until water supply returns to normal.
