The Lilongwe Water Board (LWB) jointly with Malawi Police Service have rearrested Hanna Sitima, a resident of Area 47 for allegedly connecting water to her plot. Sitima aged 48 and hails from Ntcheu district was once arrested on 7th February, 2018 on same charges. No One Deserves Compensation- Roads Authority

MCP Fined MK106 Million For Illegal Water Connection

The opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) has been implicated in illegal water connection which has forced service provider the Lilongwe Water Board (LWB) to disconnect water supply and slap the party with K106 million penalty.
