Mpumulo Wa Bata (Peaceful Rest in English) is a historical place where the late President Bingu together with the former first lady Madame late Ethel Mutharika were laid to rest.

Cadets were seen with brooms, pangas, slashers and mops which they were using to carry out the cleaning exercise.

Spokesperson for the group, Monalisa Kachitsa said they organized the cleaning exercise as one way of paying homage to Father and Founder of the Mighty DPP.
