Mzuzu City Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) parliamentary aspiring candidate, Kenneth Sanga has urged residents in the city to vote for DPP during the May 21, 2019 tripartite elections to ensure the city’s continued development.
Speaking Wednesday in an interview, Sanga said ushered into power he will ensure that each location in the city has its dispensary to reduce congestion at Mzuzu Central Hospital and Mapale Health Centre.
“I will make sure that each location has its own dispensary as it is in the cities of Blantyre and Lilongwe so that people have easy access to health services,” Sanga said.
He said the development, apart from reducing congestion at Mzuzu Central Hospital and Mapale Health Centre, will also contribute towards making the central hospital maintain its referral hospital status.
“I will also facilitate construction of more tarmac roads within the city as demonstrated by President Peter Mutharika who, through his government, has constructed dual carriage way in the city and other roads in the north and the country as a whole,” he said.
On education, Sanga said he will work with development stakeholders in constructing additional primary schools in some wards besides constructing additional classroom blocks in the existing schools to promote quality education.-MANA
