Multi-choice Malawi reduces DStv Charges

Multichoice Malawi has announced a subscription price decrease on some of its bouquets alongside a content upgrade on DStv packages, effective 1 November 2016.

Making the announcement in Blantyre Marketing Manager for Multichoice Malawi Chimwemwe Nyirenda, said the significant price drop coupled with the major boost in entertainment value across all DStv bouquets is a demonstration of their commitment to ensuring that DStv customers are receiving the best possible access to great entertainment and outstanding value.

“We want our customers to enjoy an entertainment bonanza with more variety, quality and exciting new content added to their packages,” said Nyirenda.
In the move, DStv premium has been decreased by 9 %, Compact plus by 15% and compact family by 24%. The decrease in prices is also coming with additional channels (including sports) on all of the bouquets.

According to Nyirenda the reduction in prices also apply to new customers as DStv Zappa Decoders with one month subscription have been reduced to K16, 999 to make sure that great family entertainment is available to everyone at the most affordable price.

“These changes are not only a defining moment on our MultiChoice story, but also a defining moment in the African entertainment landscape and we are proud to be pushing as hard as we can to delight every television entertainment fan in Malawi,” Said Nyirenda.
