John Phiri Says Not Rushing Things at BB Youth

Big Bullets Youth Trainer and former Malawi National team forward John Phiri has said that he is now happy because his charges are responding well to training.
Speaking to this journalist in an interview lately, Phiri himself who was revered to by his adoring fans as the ‘Master Header’ Phiri explained that despite the fact that his team is at the middle of the Southern Region Football League (SRFL) First Division he is not worried at all.
“You see in football players have to go through stages, a thing which is lacking today. In our case we are working on a number of things like movement on the pitch, how to create chances and utilize those opportunities.
“Like Barcelona you could see that their goals in most cases do not just come as a matter of good luck but they are created and in most cases their moves start from the back, a thing which we want to adopt at Bullets Youth,” he explained.
Phiri went on to say that they are going to work extremely hard in order to make the grades for the Premier League in the near seasons.
“Our Interest as of now is not just to jump into the Premier League but we want to show the soccer loving fraternity how football is supposed to be played,” he said.
John Phiri is one of the legendary players ever produced in the country especially when it comes to power packed goals through headers.
