Thyolo Assemblies of God to hold a five days gospel crusade

The Thyolo Malawi Assemblies of God (MAOG) church will from Wednesday this week hold the first ever gospel crusade as one way of reaching out and ministering to thousands of souls in the district.

The crusade, which will run up to Sunday would be based under a theme ‘Encounter the real power of God’.

Speaking in an interview with the Malawi News Agency (MANA), secretary for the church Kephars Kameta said the main guest speaker during the upcoming crusade will be Reverend Edward Chitsonga who is also the president of the Malawi Assemblies of God.

“Since the crusade is the first of its kind, the church thought of inviting the president (Reverend Chitsonga) to be part of it. We knew that apart from ministering to the people, he (the MAOG president) would also be in a better position to appreciate the activities of the church,” said Kameta.

Kameta added that the other guest speaker during the crusade would be Bishop Andrew Dube who ministers at Nkolokosa dream centre on top of the host speaker Rev Lloyd Somela.

The church secretary therefore added that people across the district should expect great things and that God will meet with their needs during the crusade because the speakers were the powerful men of God.

“I am therefore inviting everyone across the district and beyond to come and attend this crusade because God will meet with their needs and their spiritual battles will be dealt with,” added Kameta.

According to Kameta, on Wednesday to Friday the crusade will be commencing from 5; 00 -9; 00 pm while on Saturday the gospel meeting will start from 8; 00 am up until 9; 00 pm. The crusade is expected to end on Sunday afternoon.

Those who have lined up to spice the gospel crusade include Thoko Suya, Duncan Phiri and the Thyolo MAOG Praise team.
