Tony Chitsulo Says Kamwendo a Gem

Former Junior Malawi national team star and Silver Strikers Tony Chitsulo has described midfielder Joseph Kamwendo as a star saying he deserves to be in the Malawi national soccer side.
He was speaking in an interview on the side-lines that Kamwendo who has lately enjoyed a rich vein in form has been recalled into camp ahead of the forthcoming qualifying Guinea match.
“I knew Kamwendo well-well back but he is such a fantastic player. When I came to join Wanderers he was the first person to tell me what to do on the ball.
“In fact he was the best Captain who could tell the team the right direction for things to work out for the better of the club,” said Chitsulo who has since said that he is working hard to bounce back into active football.
The dribbling whiz kid has since been doing his training sessions with Azam Tigers at Country Club Limbe where he is greatly favoured to put pen to paper in due course.
He is on record as to have punished Mighty Be Forward Wanderers after netting 2 in a well-attended match which was played at Kamuzu Stadium. The Nomads lost that game with that similar margin.
The controversial striker told Maravi Express that other teams should brace themselves for an exciting season once he signatures with Tigers FC are concluded.
“You see football is quite exciting and I am going to showcase my skills and hopefully score more and more goals once thrown into service by the coach,” explained Chitsulo who was a member of the Junior Flames side which went to the World Cup in North Africa.
