Armed Robbers Steal at Phalombe Education Office

Armed robbers have broken into Phalombe District Education Office where they have gone away with computers and money worth over K700, 000, it has been learnt.
Deputy District Education Manager Godfrey Kubwese and Phalombe Public Relations Officer Mr. Augustus Nkhwazi confirmed the development to Zodiak Online lately.
Kubwese verified that the thieves invaded the office at around 11 pm and stole five computers, a television screen and cash amounting to K785, 000.
“We have recovered three desktop computers in a bush while two laptop computers and the television screen are still missing,” Kubwese told the local media.
Meanwhile, the police are still investigating the matter and no-one has since been arrested.
The development comes barely days after robbers also stole computers at Mangochi District Education Office.
