Big Bullets supporters chairman Isaac ‘Jomo’ Osman has called upon all Bullets fans to forget about the disastrous trip to Sudan where the team was handed a humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of Al Hilal Stadium in Khartoum during the first leg match played at Al HiIal stadium in Khartoum to rally behind their side from the word go to the end during the return leg of the Confederations of African Football (CAF) Club Champions league.

Jomo has concurred with Coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan that anything is possible in football and that the Bullets can cause an upset during the second leg tie to be played at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre in two weeks’ time.

Ramadhan, while accepting defeat pointing fingers at his own players for the downfall was upbeat that his team can avenge the painful loss suffered in Sudan.

Osman has since said that he is going to arrange for meetings where supporters are going to be sensitized on how to create an intimidating atmosphere to the visiting Al Halal as one way of giving the team a big push if it has to manage to win 5-0 to progress in the tournament.

“Of course we suffered a heavy loss and that should not put us off the tournament. As the technical panel works on the weaknesses of the team, we as supporters are also not going to sit idle but we are going to have meetings to see how we can assist the team on the day of the match. In football supporters also play a crucial role for a team to win a match,” he said.

Meanwhile, Jomo has also asked supporters from other super league clubs to rally behind the Bullets. “We are representing Malawi so I ask followers of other clubs to join us in cheering our team because if it does well then it is Malawi which is going to shine on the international scene”.

In Malawi there has been a tendency where supporters of rival clubs especially Bullets and Wanderers are used to rally behind visiting teams describing themselves as ‘Ganyu’ Fans.

The return leg at Kamuzu Stadium is expected to attract huge patronage just like when the People’s team played against Fombomi de Moheri of Comoro Islands where they drew 2-2 to qualify for this round of the tournament                   .
